Benchmark Services Limited has been a
registered Waste Carrier licence holder for nearly ten years.
The rules and regulations covering the
disposal of laboratory and office equipment are now stricter than
ever with severe penalties for non-compliance.

It is no longer the case that an item can
simply be removed from site and taken to a landfill. As
required by the most recent legislation, we provide a fully
documented audit trail of every piece of equipment that we remove
and dispose of, which is made available to the customer.
Some items require proof of decontamination
before they can be removed from site and we can provide these
certificates for our customers to complete.
We fully embrace the move to greener
working practices and look to recycle as much, and wherever
possible.
